Make Your Mark 2012: Who Will Win?
Friday night, millions watched as the finalists of the second annual Make Your Mark: Shake It Up Dance Off competed in the Disney Channel televised event. Eighteen talented dancers took the stage as members of five dance groups (DJ’s Mix, Urban Xtreme, Bx5 Crew, Team Identity, Starley and Chris) and solo dancer Ashley.
Who will win the second annual Make Your Mark: Shake It Up Dance Off competition?
When the performances were over, three finalists were eliminated (Urban Xtreme, Bx5 Crew and Ashley) and Disney Channel viewers had two hours to vote online, by text, or by phone for their favorite dancers of the three remaining competitors – DJ’s Mix, Team Identity and Starley and Chris. Voting closed late Friday night and anticipation has run high ever since.
This weekend, Blogging Disney fans have posted hundreds of shout-outs and messages of support to their favorite competitors. An earlier (unofficial) site poll had the spunky duo of DJ’s Mix in the lead, but we won’t know who will win until Sunday night’s results show.
Tune in Sunday, October 21st at 8pm/7c to see who will win the second-ever Make Your Mark competition and a coveted spotlight dancer performance on Disney Channel’s Shake It Up.

I cannot believe Disney chose two girls based on flexibility exercises. Yes they are cute but you were supposed to judge on their ability to dance and they did not show that! I believe you should have picked Team Identity, they had raw talent. Those kids performed, danced exceptionally well without any professional training. I’m starting to think there’s more to “your voting” than the audience knows. Next time if you are judging on cuteness, flexibility and stretching just say so. Extremely disappointed will not watch again.

bmx grew u guys are the best make your mark dancers i ever seen in my life im only 9 in a half yrs old but this is my first time waching make your mark and i really think u guys can nail this and win so dont panic and dont let go of ur dreams and i think dj mix has no competicomptition on u guys. and i think everyone else will lose but u guys will still stand in the finals and win. p.s. u guys no how to brankdance but i have no idea how to dance also my sister thinks she can dance but not as good as u guys and she is voteing for dj max and i cant belive my eyes that everyone is voteing for dj max they have to be out there mind or they were drunk see u guys in the finals see ya.
